The Herb Alpert Educational Village is a new educational center created through the consolidation of the New Roads School’s middle-school and high-school programs onto their existing high-school campus in Santa Monica. As the first phase of this project, House & Robertson served as executive architect for the flagship Performing Arts and Leadership Center, housing a 350-seat performance theater, student gallery space, and multi-use classrooms as well as offices for the New Vision Foundation and other non-profit organizations. The theater and support spaces include state-of-the-art acoustics and audiovisual capabilities.
