42XX Glencoe is a creative office campus located in the Venice area of Los Angeles. The project includes three 2 and 3-story buildings totaling 123,000 sq. ft. over a 80,000-sq.-ft. parking garage, incorporating mechanical stacker parking systems to create 396 parking spaces. The buildings are connected at each level through the use of various outdoor amenities and a system of interconnected balconies and bridges. The project uses a sustainable Cross-Laminated Timber (CLT) floor system and a combination of Wood glu- lam beams and exposed steel structural elements to provide a unique and warm exposed environment for the office spaces. As the executive architect, House & Robertson was responsible for the technical development of the project, including the core and shell development of all buildings. The project is currently under construction with an anticipate completion mid-2024.
