Greg Lynn, a pioneer in the digital-design age, was among the first to use animation software in his architecture projects. House & Robertson was part of the Greg Lynn Form team on an invited design competition in 2002 for a new BMW production plant in Leipzig, Germany. As one of nine competition finalists, HRA worked closely with Greg Lynn on development of the programmatic and technical aspects of the competition design, and traveled to Leipzig with Greg to meet with the BMW technical team, and later to present the 350,000-sq.-ft. design proposal to both the BMW Group and members of the local community.
