Completed within an accelerated schedule to open concurrently with the Staples Center Arena in Downtown Los Angeles in 1999, House & Robertson collaborated with Sunderland Interspace Design from Vancouver, Canada to execute both the Kendall-Jackson Grand Reserve Club and The Grand Premier Club as tenant improvements within the arena. Designed as an exclusive private club away from the arena, The Grand Premier Club is fitted out with custom millwork, lighting and luxury finishes, and a full-service bar. The Kendall-Jackson Grand Reserve Club is an intimate private dining club with a terrace outdoor patio. As executive architects, HRA developed all construction documents, processed permit submittals through the City of Los Angeles, and was the primary liaison with the contractor throughout the compressed construction timeframe.
